My unconditional love of my gardens on the homestead Part 2!

Even though we're supposed to get yet another ice/sleet/snow storm here in TN tomorrow night, I still feel the call of coming Springtime! I love digging in my garden, planting seeds and transplanting from the greenhouse!

Most people that know me know that I am OBSESSED with my garden come spring time. Feeling the itch to get that shovel in my hands y'all! I've got ideas in my head, new species of plants and seeds and I just can't wait to start seeing the beauty around me grow! So in the meantime, while I wait impatiently for the frost to melt, the snow to dissipate and the roots to take hold again in the abundant organic soil on my homestead, I decided that sharing some of the photos from years past would suffice. I shared with you some of the photos in a past post, this is I suppose the continuation...

There are so many pictures I would share with you regarding my gardens. I will post more, though I think this may be enough for now. I contribute much of my success with my garden to the amazing organic mushroom compost that we use. Coffee grinds are also a must. You know me and Pinterest...It's another lil obsession I believe I've compiled a list of all the gardening boards I have had the pleasure to be a part of on Pinterest.

My favorite part about spring is watching my desolate garden (remember, I'm in Tn...everything dies after fall until about mid-April when we start seeing green again) transform into the beauty my eyes love to behold. My yearly therapy. Most people that know me know that I am OBSESSED with my garden come spring time.

This year, I focused more on taking photos of the growing herbs in the flower box.
I can't find any recipe that use dahlias for skincare lol.
