It's time to rebrand JBHomemade's Logo! Give your opinion for a special coupon code!

Well, it's time to reorder my business cards and I thought what better time to take a look at my current logo and see if I can improve upon it! As much as I love the lil me holding the organic pot in the garden, I have been told by a few people that it seems a bit juvenile. So, with that being said, I have made a few collages and am hoping for your honest opinions. Both for the logo itself and for the font.

Here is the current Business Card (07/2014 - 07/2016):

Update: October 21, 2016
And here is the final design! I am thrilled with the way my new logo and business card design came out and wanted to share it with all of you!

Logo:
Hollyhocks are near and dear to my heart and an integral ingredient in some of the items in my skincare line. In fact, hollyhocks were the inspiration for me to start my skincare line, extending my offerings to you beyond sugaring for hair removal. We have a beautiful hollyhock garden and I use the petals and root system to make toners, masks and even hair toner.

WMI: What are the benefits of using organic products like sugar scrubs?

JB: There are many benefits of using sugar scrubs for exfoliation. Not just having smooth skin, but each and every ingredient I use (all organic/ natural ingredients are used including the chosen sugars, carrier oils, essential oils and herbs including Lavender, Coconut, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Peppermint, Dry Mint, Lemon, Dried Chamomile, Dried Lavender, Dried Rosemary just to name a few) have individual benefits to your skin and health. One benefit is smooth skin; obviously, the other benefits include improvement in skin tone, acne, spots, and skin texture. Read more here

My unconditional love of my gardens on the homestead Part 2!

Even though we're supposed to get yet another ice/sleet/snow storm here in TN tomorrow night, I still feel the call of coming Springtime! I love digging in my garden, planting seeds and transplanting from the greenhouse!

Most people that know me know that I am OBSESSED with my garden come spring time. Feeling the itch to get that shovel in my hands y'all! I've got ideas in my head, new species of plants and seeds and I just can't wait to start seeing the beauty around me grow! So in the meantime, while I wait impatiently for the frost to melt, the snow to dissipate and the roots to take hold again in the abundant organic soil on my homestead, I decided that sharing some of the photos from years past would suffice. I shared with you some of the photos in a past post, this is I suppose the continuation...
✿✿✿Yes...lets continue, shall we?
If you missed the previous post, view here.
There are so many pictures I would share with you regarding my gardens. I will post more, though I think this may be enough for now. I contribute much of my success with my garden to the amazing organic mushroom compost that we use. Coffee grinds are also a must. You know me and Pinterest...It's another lil obsession I believe I've compiled a list of all the gardening boards I have had the pleasure to be a part of on Pinterest.
✿✿✿OK...lets go ahead and say this is part 2♥☺

My unconditional love of my gardens on the homestead Part 1!

My favorite part about spring is watching my desolate garden (remember, I'm in Tn...everything dies after fall until about mid-April when we start seeing green again) transform into the beauty my eyes love to behold. My yearly therapy. Most people that know me know that I am OBSESSED with my garden come spring time.

I figured I would share with you my gardens of years past. Hope you enjoy and pin your lil hearts away! Pin, share, whichever it is you feel like... Some of the photos will soon be available for purchase on my Etsy Shop as digital download screensavers. If you are interested in getting one of these printed on a beautiful matte semi-glossy print 5x7 or larger, let me know...contact me on any of my social media sites. Ok..ready? (Oh..and most people who know me also know I LOVE my camera and taking pictures. I might have to split this post into more than one

This year, I focused more on taking photos of the growing herbs in the flower box.
I can't find any recipe that use dahlias for skincare lol.
